Whats up blogging peeps all over the world! I figured that today I am going to write whats on my mind as opposed to spinning it into some ol sneaky devotional or something. I have Football on my mind. Training Camp has started for all the teams in the NFl and I couldnt be happier. It means a fresh slate. A chance for my Cardinals to redeem and rid themselves of that bitter taste from the Super Bowl melt down. This is a time that every NFL fan loves because we all have hope, most fans are fooling themselves with blind hope but this is the time to dream. Even the Lions are currently tied with the Steelers for the top spot 1st rnd playoff bye. Below I have put down a few of my predictions on the upcoming year in the NFL as well as some questions I am looking forward to watching unfold as the season progresses. go to this link just listen to the tunes and kick back as you read...

AFC East Champ- New England Patriots. Believe me, I am not sippin this Tom Brady/New England Patriots kool-aid. I just don't see the Dolphins dublicating last year. Not with an older Ricky running and you cant put much stock in a chad pennington. Any one else shocked he lasted all year last year? The bills will finish a typical 7-9 again but its cool cuz theyll be all over VH1 as T.O. "Brings the heat to Buffalo" with his new reality show. The Jets will have a sick defense this year with all the talent they have ther and new coach rex ryan calling the shots but I don't see Cleo Lemons or mark sanchez leading this team to 11 or 12 wins to win the division.

AFC North Champ- Pittsburgh Steelers. With one of the best D's in recent memory mixed with an above average offense its ludacris to go against the champs here especially when they have 4 games against the bengals and browns. neither of those teams will be a factor. theyre a joke. Baltimore is going to be tough as always but they took a step back this offseason. Plus I met Ray Lewis at a sports banquet I was covering in my hometown Phoenix, AZ this summer and he turned me down twice for an interview he said we can do. Boo to them I say. boo.

AFC South Champ- Indianapolis Colts. Only if they can stay healthy and Anthony Gonzalez steps up big at WR. With the deparcher of the greedy Albert Haynesworth the Titans obviously took a hit but I can see them taking this division for a 2nd straight year. Jacksonville has been so mediocre the last couple of years. Torry Holt will help this squad and theyll be a tough team to play with their physicality but I don't see them finishing higher than the Titans or Colts. For a consistant basement dweller the Texans might be the best of the worst. I dont know if that is any form of a compliment but take it as you wish Houston. I'm lookin for snaggin Steve Slaton as my #1 fantasy back this season

AFC West Champ- Chargers by default. The Chargers would be overachieving with a .500 record in any other division in football. They wont win this division they just won't lose it. I'm going to make a prediction that they have an inflated number of wins and the national media will be all over them as some type of favorite. Every team in the league wishes they can have an easy 6 wins on the board. Thats what SD gets with Oakland Denver and KC. Those could very well be 3 of the worst teams in the L. I'm not even going to talk about the rest of the division. Not worth it. Taking a sip of my mountain dew is much higher on my priorities list.

NFC East Champ- Philadelphia Eagles. The team got better this off season. I know fans hurt over seeing Dawkins go to the lowly Broncos but this green machine will be fine. Every year this division is one of the big stories in football. I am going to make my 1 bold preseason statement. The New York Giants will finish last in this division. Eli Manning is throwing to you and me. The running game took a hit at depth by watching Derrik Ward walk to Tampa which is important with the ammounts of touches the RB's get under Tom Caughlin and the expectation that Brandon Jacobs will miss a game here and there. The D is strong as always but it seems they loose some one new every year. The Redskins improved. The D will be legit. ALot of the season will hinge on the health of Clinton Portis as it always does as well as Santana Moss. Can he contimue his tear from last season? The Cowboys won't make the playoffs this season. They are so over ratedd by sexy individuals who havent won a playoff game in over 10yrs

NFC North Champ- Minnesota Vikings. This is going to arguably be the msot interesting division for me to watch and pay attention to. !st off I believe the Vikings will win the Super Bowl this season. Thats how highly I think of them. A strong running game with a strong D. great championship material.... In Green Bay I see them getting into the playoffs as the wild card and Aaron Rodgers will be a Pro Bowl QB if I am wrong it will be because the guy was snubbed. Remember that. Chi-Town, what will Cutler do? I am interested to see how he and the worst #1 WR in football (Devin Harris) will effect each other. I think Cutler will give Devin Harris 700-800yrds on the season with 4-6 TD's a great fantasy WR to have off your bench mixed with what he doesn on special teams. I would hate to be the 1st team to loose to the Lions this year. Thats going to suck, who ever it is or maybe another 0-16 season is on the horizon, thatll suck even more.

NFC South Champ- Atlanta Falcons. I am driving the Matt Ryan Band Wagon. hang on! toot toot! I believe the guys collapse in the playoffs against the cardinals was an incredible learning experiance for him. Now hes got Tony Gonzalez to throw to in the slot and deep ball threat roddy white going down field and michael burner turner running with the rock. theyve got something brewing in the ATL. Jake Delehome is on the decline and Carolina is following suite. New Orleans puzzles me as to why they are so mediocre. Never know what theyre gonna be from week to week. Tampa isnt a factor this season. Theyre in rebuilding mode and need a couple years. you have a grace period tampa, better hope it all works out on the flip side

NFC West Champ Arizona Cardinals. I am going on the record to say that the NFC West is the most under rated division in football this year. They have been the red headed step child the last 5 or 6 years but this is the year it all changes. With such a prolific offense and solid D the Cards will win 11-12 games this season. The sea hawks will be the most improved team in the NFL as far as wins from this yr to last as long as they can keep hassleback clean. I believe the wild card will come out of this division either being the sea hawks or the niners. Frisco is such a dark horse, can't sleep on them. they were a bad play call away on the one yard line to win a game that would have tied the cardinals for the division lead @ 9-7 last year. Niners got alot better. dont sleep on em. Stl isnt scaring any one. no news there but they are rebuilding the way it needs to be done by addressing defense and the offensive line. I applaude Stl for knowing what they need as opposed to getting a sexy wr or skilled position

well those are my initial predictions and thoguhts for the upcoming NFL season. Maybe tomorow I will enshrine my awards ceremony to all of you. till then..... PEACE!
