For nearly five decades, the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation has carried a simple but bold vision – fueled by its founder Reid Carpenter and inspired by the words of Rev. Sam Shoemaker:

“I have a vision that Pittsburgh will one day be as famous for God as it is (today) for steel.”

30 Days of Pittsburgh Prays is a continuation of that vision. Starting on April 7, 2026, churches, leaders, families, and communities across our region will unite in intentional, focused prayer for Pittsburgh for 30 days – believing that when God’s people come together in humility and faith, He moves in powerful ways.
