The path to publication can be confusing. There world of publishing has changed tremendously in the past fifteen years. While the options for publication have grown exponentially through self-publishing and e-books, the way to publication is still difficult and confusing. Writers’ conferences provide not only assistance in improving your writing, they also offer help in navigating through the publishing world.

 Equipping writers since 1957

St. Davids Christian Writers’ Conference has been equipping writers since 1957. It is one of the longest running Christian writing conferences in the country. This year the conference will be held on the campus of Allegheny College (520 N. Main Street) in Meadville, Pennsylvania (16335), June 18–22, 2025. The conference is for writers of all experience levels and is characterized by a supportive community. Dan Balow, literary agent from The Steve Laube Agency, will be our keynote speaker and member of faculty. Other faculty include best-selling historical fiction authors Cindy K. Sproles and Rebecca Price Janney, award-winning romance author Karin Beery, and award-winning author Michele Cynoweth.
